Eye Camp 2024

On November 30, 2024, Ahmad Foundation in collaboration with Department of Health and Family Welfare Doda, Government Medical College Jammu, and Government Medical College Doda, organised a Free Eye Check-up & Treatment Camp at Associated Hospital GMC Doda.

The camp was inaugurated by Deputy Commissioner Doda Sh. Harvinder Singh (IAS) and Senior Suprindent of Police Doda, Sh. Sandeep Mehta.

The camp was conducted by Dr. Ashok Sharma, a renowned opthalmologist, professor, and Head of the Department of Opthalmology GMC Jammu, and his team of over 20 doctors. Dr. Varsha Sharma, Immunization Officer Doda and her department provided ample support throughout the camp.

Over 230 patients were screened for various eye conditions. All of them were provided free medicines and eye glasses. Among them, 70 persons were recommended surgeries. Ahmad Foundation will cover all the expenses related to their surgeries.

Eye Camp 2023

On May 21, 2023, Ahmad Foundation in collaboration with District Administration Doda and Government Medical College Doda, organised a Free Eye Check-up & Treatment Camp at GMC Doda.

The camp was inaugrated by Deputy Commissioner Doda Sh. Vishesh Paul Mahajan (JKAS). The camp was conducted by Dr. Ashok Sharma, Professor and Head of Department of Opthalmology, GMC Jammu, and his team.

Over 300 patients were screened for various eye conditions. Ahmad Foundation provided free medicines to the patients. All the expenses of patients recommended for surgeries were covered by Ahmad Foundation
